Meatballs, dipping sauces & some toothpicks ... what could be simpler?

Whether you're fixing a feast for youngsters or grandparents, this delicious dish is sure to delight!

Total Time: 5-8 Minutes

This one's super simple!  Just cook your favorite Mom Made Meatballs as directed on the box, pour some sauces in dipping bowls, set out some toothpicks, and you're good to go! This also works well for the kids who don't care for the Thanksgiving turkey as a no fuss protein. What sauce, you ask? We recommend cranberry, barbecue, and/or apple sauce to dip.

Pop'em Meatball Party Appetizer

A bite-size, super easy appetizer that all ages are sure to love!  Everyone will think they're homemade...shhhhhh!

Prep Time : No more than 10 minutes

Yield : Approx 12 (2 Meatballs per person)

Ingredients:

1 (8oz) box of Mom Made Beef & Cheddar Meatball Bites

Low sodium chicken broth or water

2 Tbsp olive oil

Your favorite sauce(s) for dipping (bbq, tomato sauce, teriyaki, mustard, ketchup, etc)

Toothpicks

Instructions:

Prep dipping sauces and serving platter. 10 minutes before you are ready to serve, heat 2 Tbsp of olive oil in sauce pan over medium heat. Add meatballs to olive oil and heat for two minutes while turning meatballs until lightly brown. Add 1 C of water or chicken broth to pan and continue heating over medium heat for 5 minutes or until hot. With a slotted spoon, remove meatballs from pan and place on a plate with dipping sauce. Place a toothpick in each.

Simple Thanksgiving Appetizer for Everyone

Are you hosting Thanksgiving and need a healthy and easy appetizer ? Then, it's time to serve some Mom Made Turkey Meatball Bites with homemade cranberry sauce in less than 12 minutes! Cranberry Sauce:

  • 12 ounce cranberries
  • 1 cup of orange juice
  • 1 cup white sugar

In a medium sized saucepan over medium heat, let the sugar dissolve  in the orange juice. Stir in the cranberries and cook until the cranberries start to pop (about 10 min). Remove from heat and place sauce in a bowl. Cranberry sauce will thicken as it cools.

Mom Made antibiotic-free Turkey Meatball Bites:

Arrange as many meatballs as needed  in a microwave safe dish with a splash of water, broth or sauce.  Cover and heat on high for 60 sec or until hot. Let stand 1 min before serving.

Now, just stick in the toothpicks and serve on a platter with dipping sauce.
