How does Mom Made ship frozen products?
We ship Mom Made products within the USA east of the Rocky Mountains at this time. Our shipping territory includes all continental United States except Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
We will start shipping west of the Rocky Mountains to all 48 continental United States in early 2019.
SHIPPING FROZEN FOOD
We will ship your order to your home or workplace via FedEx. We ship frozen products in coolers packed with dry ice to ensure the shipment arrives frozen. Please open package upon arrival and place the product in your freezer.
Please note that dry ice is very cold (-109.3°F), and can be dangerous if not handled correctly. We include specific instructions to provide for safe handling and disposal of any dry ice that may still remain in your cooler upon arrival. Please do not handle dry ice with bare hands.
Frozen shipments cannot be in transit over the weekend, so the destination, shipping method and day that your order is placed can all affect when your order will arrive.
We ship Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. However, if the transit time required to ship your order after a Tuesday during a given week would require your order to sit in a shipping company’s warehouse over the weekend, it will be held until the following Monday.
Most of our shipments arrive within 3 consecutive shipping days after your order is placed. Consecutive shipping days are Monday-Saturday for residential addresses, and Monday-Friday for commercial addresses.
You will receive a shipment notification with your tracking number when your order ships.
Since our products are frozen and shipped with dry ice, we are unable to accept returns and we do not offer refunds on items that have been shipped. That said, if we do make a mistake on our end, we’ll be happy to correct it. Please reach out to us at 877-512-1800 or email@example.com.
